Here is another glimpse of my project, which has grown since I found these three great pieces for $5 each. I’ve been up since….well yesterday. I ran out for some coffee at about 5:40 this morning and had my camera with me so I snapped this photo of early morning sunshine on the mountains - see our bits of snow. Currently it is very warm at my house!
I’ve signed up for another round of PIF with June. You all know how this works I think but just in case -
The first five people to respond to this post (via the comments section) will get some form of needlework made by me. After you comment, please email me your snail mail address (petermkp@gmail.com). I’m going with a 365 day deadline, but will try to get the items out much sooner than that! There is a catch, of course, the way this works is that if you sign up, you have to blog this as well and continue the sharing (you don’t have to have a blog to participate, just pass on the giving with friends, or surprise someone).
I would like to ask if you have PIF-ed with me before, that you give others a chance to sign up first - but PLEASE if you see my offer languishing with no takers days from now SIGN UP!
:0)
PS - I decided to stitch Garden Pleasures first.

Hello Maria Esther,
So good to hear from you again. I’m glad you have visited Colorado, and enjoyed it. I sometimes go to Fort Collins and I’m in Estes Park frequently, we lived there before moving to our current home not too far from there.
Thank you for signing up for the PIF.

Hi Sandra,
Thank you for reading my blog and for taking time to post. I love living here and there are some many times I’m out and think I should take a picture of that for my blog - I sometimes have to remind myself it is okay just to enjoy the view without taking a photo! I’m glad you like the pictures.

Hello Helen,
I’m glad you are going to start a PIF. It is a nice why to make new stitching friends. My grandmother’s family are all from Hungary. My grandma always called me Madishka (don’t know if I’m spelling it right).

How do you saying it? Not Mariska?
It is a kindly version of Maria
July 12, 2007 at 6:11 pm
Mary Kathryn, it’s Mariska, pronounced Ma-rish-kuh (but sounding very like Madishka when said with an accent). Just like the actress Mariska Hargitay, it’s a Hungarian variation of Mary. Yes, my name is Mary and I am part Hungarian, too.
