Back to life.

Although I don’t feel completely well, I do feel much better.  I still feel like I need extra sleep and don’t have much appetite, and my head is stuffy, but I do feel like the worst is over.  I’m also very happy to report that my website is back where it belongs!

I did a bit of stitching when I could and made good progress on this new design by Tanya Anderson of The Sampler Girl.  I love the colors used and this design is just perfect for how I was feeling — it is really true about staying home for real comfort!  You can get this design in the latest issue of TGOS magazine found here, just click on the photo of the magazine for details.

  2. you did a LOT of stitching… it’s so pretty 🙂 Love those colors, and the saying is just perfect. Glad to hear your website is back up!

  3. What beautiful colours those are! You’ve made a super job of it so far, can’t wait to see it finished.

I got my copy of GOS too and there are some lovely things in there. It’s such a fab mag!

Hopefully you’re feeling a bit better now and over the worst.

  4. So pleased you’re feeling a bit brighter Mary Kathryn and good to see your website back up and running.

The sampler is beautiful. This is my fave from the latest issue and I’ll be stitching it one day!

  5. Glad your feeling better. I do love this sampler when I saw it in the magazine. Though I heard there were some errors in it. Oh well, its still in my to do pile. :o)

  6. Yeah!! Glad to hear everything is getting back to normal! Those colors are gorgeous! What color fabric are you using?? I’ll be placing an order soon! 🙂

  7. So glad you are beginning to feel better and glad your website is back to normal. I loved this design when I saw it, and like it even more in your photo. The colors seem more muted. Are you using the R&R fabric it called for? I’m going to check my thread packs to see which fibers I need!

  8. Hi Nicole,

I’m enjoying this design, and it is a perfect sentiment. I’m just using a natural 28ct linen from my odds and ends bin. I think this project could be stitched on a wide variety of fabrics and still look great!

  9. WOW! You’ve got a smokin’ needle there! You have done so much on that sampler. All I have managed to do is think about doing it! Someday, I’ve got a lot of projects in the works right now. Beautiful work, I love the threads and materials you have there.

Also, glad to hear you are feeling much better.

  10. Hi! Your sampler is looking very beautiful! I am stitching it too and please see my blog: there is a mistake on the chart with the placement of top and bottom vines. The two parts of the chart are not the same width either…
Thanks for a nice blog that I love reading (and no comment…. Lazy girl…).
    Take care!
