Beneath the Sunlit Sky from Blackbird Designs (retired and out of stock – sorry). I’m getting there on this one. I hope to really have it done before Sunday. I’ve had several requests for the thread changes I’ve made. I’ve done more than just a substitution in places, using a different color entirely (like a grey bird at the top rather than a pink one), I’ve really only made three color changes I think-

I changed:

GA Brandy to GA Grasshopper
GA Parchment to GA Sea Spray
GA Grape Leaf to GA Evergreen (a darkish skein I had, not a normal looking Evergreen)

Looking ahead to two weeks with extra stitching time (in theory) I’d love to dive into these projects!  Mary Davies 1769 from the Sampler Girl in Carrie’s Silk.  Noah from Plum Street Samplers for Ethan’s room,   these two Heartstring Primitives – Rachael Holmes 1842 & My Home is Built in Glory. There was a question about the stitches used for Rachael Holmes, they are cross stitch, straight stitch, french knot, and eyelet stitch.

What I can’t wait to get my hands on and will cause all else to be put aside is this wonderful new sampler from TanyaOn Travel with Jane Austen.  I’ve ordered this and I’m putting together thread packs!  Love it!!  I’m adding all these charts and thread packs to my Blog Projects Page at the webshop.

Shop Announcement
