We took a longish drive on Sunday, it wasn’t a great day for pictures but here are a few.

It was snowy in the high mountains, sunny in the canyon. There were many fly fishers on the Big Thompson. We saw a turkey – I have never seen a turkey in the park before and I have have spent a lot of time in the park (Rocky Mountain National Park).

We wound all over and drove past Horsetooth Reservoir on the way to Ft. Collins in the afternoon.

Hope you had a great Wednesday!!

PS – just saw that we have snow in the forecast for tomorrow!!

  1. Mary Kathryn the photos are beautiful as always. I loved the turkey. I recently came across a flock of them in a field nearby and the males all had their tail feathers fanned out. It was a sight to see.
