I took these pictures the day after Christmas on the way home from taking Jerry to the airport, he was barely home for 48 hours over Christmas. I’m missing him very much!

Snow and cold weather is expected starting tomorrow, it has been in the 50s all month which has been very nice. It still feels like autumn to me, a long autumn.

Hope your week and been sweet so far!

  1. I so look forward to your pictures… I love it out there but don’t get to travel enough. When I was young, my parents took us ‘out west’ every summer for two weeks camping. When my father passed away last year, my husband and I took a trip in his memory and we went to all the places we used to go to with Dad. It was awesome… Thanks again!

  2. I’m so sorry you had to take Jerry to the airport. My father used to travel like that while I grew up. He’d get home Christmas Eve lots of years, we’d go to Sears to buy a tree, and it would be decorated Christmas morning with the packages underneath. Of course, that was mainly my mother’s hard work, courage and gumption that kept our family going – just like you. I know it’s hard. Prayers to you and your family.

  3. I saw that same X in the sky here in South Carolina. That is so weird. How far away are you able to see something like this?
It is an odd coincidence that it was on the same day.
